Yup, you heard right! My MacBook began to freeze about a week ago and I was unable to use any intensive software like iMovie or Photoshop. Then my charger decided to die and I had to wait five days until I could get a new one. Feeling hopeful, I allowed my laptop to charge overnight completely undisturbed until the following morning which is when I discovered that my computer doesn't work at all and loads to a white screen...
I tried resetting the PRAM and VRAM with no success and I also tried holding down control r in order to open it in safe mode or reinstall the OS...but to no avail. I'm pretty sure that it's a gpu or graphics card issue and my Apple Care expired in January...I am completely screwed. I guess my next step is to get my computer diagnosed at the Apple store and go from there. I am broke and know that replacing the gpu is going to be out of my price range so it may be a while before I can work on any art or continue my stories...sorry guys
